Jill Litzenberger

Jill Litzenberger was born on the Island of Guam and raised in Florida and Colorado. She started performing shortly after learning to walk and after countless family performances she began training in what would be a lifelong passion as a dancer, performer and teacher of her craft.

As a professional, at the young age of 18 she began traveling the world. Dancing and performing with Disney, Cirque du Soleil, Koresh Dance Company, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Ormao Modern Company, Colorado Jazz Dance Company, as well as choreographers Mia Michaels and Laurieann Gibson.

She furthered her training at University of the Arts in PA, focusing in dance and musical theater. Though armed with experience and education, it was her vivacious and enthusiastic approach to performing that made teaching a natural progression. Over the years she has crafted a fun and creative classroom environment instilling in her students the values and qualities she gained during her formative years in dance and musical theater.

Jill moved to Santa Cruz 10 years ago to be close to the sea and far from the snow. She has been teaching and choreographing musicals, show choirs, local contemporary and ballet performances.
